Favorite Oscar Looks

When I was younger, I dreamed of being two things: a princess and an actress– as you can imagine, Grace Kelly’s life story blew my mind. Nowadays, when I watch the Oscar’s, I really realize that they are one in the same. Without being an actual princess like Grace Kelly, these actresses seem like they have it all- designer jewelery, beautiful gowns, honorable poise, etc. At the Oscar’s there were a lot of role models on the red carpet and I really hope young girls and boys were watching and looking up to them because of not only their appearance, but their extreme talent and undeniable elegance. Here are my favorite actresses that I think looked like pure royalty on Sunday night.

Models Part II

I recently made another post about models in regards to the body image and the ridiculous industry it can be (Click here to view that post). I really am in awe of the beautiful models that maintain both a healthy body (or seemingly healthy) and also, are extremely gorgeous and really flawless.

When I think of models like GiseleĀ  Bundchen or Agyness Deyn, I really do believe that they are talented. Modeling is not just sitting there, smiling or pouting. It takes a personality and that special “it” factor, whatever that may be.

For instance, Agy has a totally unique style about her, a unique way of going about modeling and that, in my opinon, is what makes her so special and continuously booking jobs.

Here are my top 5 favorite models:

Best Of the Grammy’s

Adele looked stunning in all black. She couldn’t have gone with a better shape, cut, or color. She really looked flawless.

Rihanna, also in all black, went much simpler than we are used to and I actually loved the change. She looked sexy and really quite effortless. I loved the symmetry of the v-neck and the slit- it made it more interesting than just a plain black dress.

Taylor Swift has become such a fashion icon in such a short period of time. She is so young but looks so mature and stylish. This look really departed her from her immature, young image and transformed her into a sultry and gorgeous woman.

Finally, the most surprising look of the night was Kelly Osborne, who made abnormal pink hair look amazing. Her hair looked really awesome with the gold dress. No one can deny she looks so good and healthy. I am sincerely happy for her and I think she totally rocked the pink hair unlike Katy Perry who looked so foolish matching her blue dress with that awful cotton candy colored blue hair.

The fact Rebecca Black was on the red carpet makes me want to boycott music industry as a whole- I just don’t get it whatsoever. The looks I just didn’t get were Nicki Minaj and Fergie. Nicki Minaj looked purely rediculous and Fergie, I see London, I see France, I can see your underpants.

Favorite Looks for the 2012 Golden Globes

Last night, at the Golden Globes, the celebrities all looked hot, despite the cold weather.

Both Reese Witherspoon and Dianna Agron looked flawless and sexy in their red gowns. Red always reminds me of old hollywood and these two blonde actresses, couldn’t have possibly embodied class and old hollywood better.

While on the other hand, in subtle shades of nude and pink, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron looked just as sexy. Nude and pale pink will always be favorites of mine, especially on such elegant, flawless women.

Jenna Dewan, an actress that is not as well known, really caught my eye in her teal gown and instantly became a favorite of the night.

Thanks for checking in again today and look for another blog tomorrow morning at 10:10 AM regarding my own fashion sense xo!
